Job Description

Position: Facility Engineer

Location: Milwaukee

Job Type: Full-Time

Introduction:

Join our clients dynamic team as a Facility Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our cutting-edge facility, equipment, and technical infrastructure. As part of our operations team, you will report directly to the Director of Operations and be a key player in enhancing their facility's capabilities and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrading of equipment, including PLC programming and managing electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
  • Collaborate with maintenance technicians and other departments to ensure smooth operations, minimize downtime, and enhance productivity.
  • Lead and manage projects focused on machinery upgrades, the implementation of new technologies, and overall facility enhancement.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adhere to industry standards, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

  1. Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or related field.
    • At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, metal stamping experience preferred.
    • Proficiency in PLC programming, electrical systems, HVAC, and plumbing maintenance.

  2. Project Management Skills:
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proven track record of managing equipment and facility maintenance projects.

  3. Leadership and Communication:
    • Exceptional leadership skills to motivate and manage a team.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to train and develop team members.
    • Bilingual abilities in Spanish are advantageous but not required.

  4. Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities:
    • Strong analytical skills with a knack for problem-solving and data interpretation.

  5. Technical Skills:
    • Familiarity with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for effective data analysis and reporting.

  6. Continuous Improvement:
    • A strong commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and technologies.
