At Aurora Flight Sciences, we design, build, and fly advanced aircraft and enabling technologies from concept to reality. We are searching for a talented and self-motivated Contracts Manager to help us create the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Support the preparation of proposals
- Lead all fact finding, audits and negotiations with customers
- Manage the contractual side of ongoing programs
- Coordinate with other internal functional disciplines
- Summarize contractual issues, develop solutions and coordinate contractual risk mitigation
-Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
- A strong working knowledge of the FARs/DFARs, USC and other procurement related regulations
- Strong writing skills required
- Must be a US Person
- Effective communicator with good interpersonal and presentation skills
- Background working with prime contractors including developing and negotiating contracts.
- BS Degree in business administration, contracts administration or a relevant degree is highly desired.
- Strong knowledge of and experience working with DCAA and DCMA is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Export Control Regulations (ITAR and EAR) is a plus.
- Experience supporting proposal work.
- Working knowledge of spreadsheets.
- NCMA membership and certification (e.g., CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM) a plus
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and wear proper PPE.
- Work onsite in Columbus, MS.
