Job Description
CNC Operator- Weekend Days
Who are we looking for? A highly motivated, driven, self-starter who can work well in a team-oriented atmosphere. The ideal candidate should have at least six months of experience operating CNC milling machines, have great organizational skills, and be able to operate several types of machines, hand, power and pneumatic tools. Forklift experience is not required but a big plus!
Shift: Weekend Days, (5am-5pm)
Pay: $21/hr.
Job Description:
- Plan and organize daily workload to accommodate production schedule.
- Transport parts from racking and staging area utilizing a forklift.
- Safely operate an Up Cut saw in order to cut parts to sizes.
- Properly mark and stage cut parts on carts used to supply the CNC milling operations.
- Review specification to determine setup procedures, dimensions, and machining sequences required to manufacture parts.
- Set up and operate a CNC mill with appropriate tooling.
- Load CNC programs into machine consoles by entering preprogrammed machine instructions.
- Observe machine operations to detect malfunctions or questionable conditions.
- Operate scissors lift to count parts.
