Job Description

Hours:32 hours in 6 weeks, one holiday a year. Self scheduling for easy flexibility. Ability to work at any or all of our locations: Waukesha Memorial hospital, Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. Mukwonago above your scheduled shifts. Critical Care shifts in the ICU and NICU available if interested Willing to train in any areas.

What You Will Do:

The Respiratory Care Practitioner provides care to patients requiring respiratory care services. Identifies abnormal/normal pulmonary data, ABG's chest x-rays, and lab values. Demonstrates and maintains competency of emergent bedside bronchoscopy procedures. Demonstrates and maintains competency of the INOvent.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy
  • Wisconsin State License - RCP
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT); Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
  • BLS (CPR) or ability to obtain at time of hire; NRP or ability to obtain within one year of hire
  • PALS preferred
  • ICU experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to maintain continuing education requirements per NBRC guidelines
