Job Description:
Continuous Improvement Engineer
Our client, a highly recognized food manufacturer, currently interviewing qualified candidates as a Continuous Improvement Engineer.
This person will be responsible for building and implementing cost savings projects, updating standard operating procedures, and assisting in updating labor standards. This individual will spend a significant amount of time on the production floor and have daily interaction with the staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree; focus in Engineering or related technical field highly preferred.
- 5 or more years of experience in process improvement or continuous improvement.
- Packaging engineering background preferred.
- Six sigma/Lean background.
- Ability to lead Kaizen events.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
