Our kitchen needs you! Saz's is slinging a lot more than ribs these days. Our seasonal menu is full of fresh items that need a little finesse. This role oversees a kitchen team to ensure prep work is completed and every plate headed out to our guests is The Finest.
The Executive Chef will collaborate with ownership and the management team to create delicious new menu items, as well as manage inventory, place daily orders, manage prep lists and team task assignments, and work a station during service if needed. Communication with management and the kitchen team is a must to be successful.
No two days will be the same, but the list below offers a general idea of our Executive Chef's responsibilities:
Our Executive Chef earns a competitive salary of no less than $65,000/year, based on experience, with annual bonuses up to $7,200 available for achieving established cost targets. Our Executive Chef eligible for a $5000 hiring bonus paid in segments throughout the first year on the team!
We're proud to be a five-time recipient of the Top Workplace award, and we want to show you why! Saz's Hospitality Group is thrilled to offer a variety of benefits to full-time employees, including health, dental and vision insurance, paid time off and a variety of discounts and partner programs. All team members are eligible to enroll in HealthiestYou 24/7/365 telemedicine plan with monthly premiums paid 100% by Saz's after 60 days on the team and can participate in our 401(k) retirement plan with company match after working 1000 hours and free work shoes from our partners at Shoes for Crews!
To be unexpectedly, over-the-top amazing in this role, the Executive Chef will need to work a variety of shifts, including events and weekends. This full time role will work a minimum of 50 - 55 hours per week, and sometimes more depending on business volume.
Our Executive Chef will need 3+ years culinary experience and more than 1 year's experience in a leadership role. Culinary education would be a bonus, but isn't required.
