Seeking a C.N.A, MA, EMT or LPN for the position of Patient Care Partner on the Clinical Resource Unit. The Patient Care Partner (PCP) is responsible for assisting with nursing care of the patient, within an assigned patient care unit. Working under the direction of the physician and/or RN, the PCP provides a variety of patient care, environmental and equipment related services including but not limited to: assisting with patient care, including observing and documenting illness and/or injury, patient room restocking and maintaining equipment. Patient care responsibilities include: IV initiation and removal, Cardiac monitoring and EKGs, Laboratory draws, Order entry, Assist with treatment and management of patients, Performs other duties as assigned: i.e.) Foley catheter insertion; patient transport; wound cleansing, etc Will work collaboratively as a part of a patient focused team to provide excellent care and services.
The Clinical Resource Center (CRC) is an internal float pool made up of RNs and Techs that are cross-trained to various departments throughout the hospital. This group of superheroes ensures adequate staffing coverage for planned and unplanned events and allows us to flex between different departments to support the various needs that arise.
Hours: 8- hour shift, PM shift, includes a weekend rotation for every 3rd
Part time position, (0.6 FTE): 48 hours/per pay period.
Competetive pay with a PM and Weekend Differential. Eligible for PTO and 401K.
Qualified candidates will have:
Minimum requirement of current CNA, EMT, MA or LPN certification/license issued by the State of Wisconsin, required.
CPR Certification, required.
1 year of patient care experience in a health care facility, required.
Applies critical thinking, analytical and participative behavior to solving techniques and decision making.
