Reporting directly to the VP-Finance, the Accounting Analyst will provide day to day tactical support to the finance team.  This position will handle month-end close tasks including journal entries, account reconciliations and financial reporting.  He or she should be extremely organized and have great time management skills

Duties/Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements using accounting principles
• Assist with month-end close accounting analysis and entries
• Assist with preparation of monthly financial reporting schedules, including budget variance and KPI analysis
• Coordinates accounting matters with other departments
• Maintain certain account reconciliations
• Assist with audit schedules and requests
• Miscellaneous special projects and duties as requested

Skills/Abilities, Experience and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field required

• At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance field

• Strong competence in MS Excel, MS Word, and G-Suite
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities at once 
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up is required
• Demonstrated analytical problem solving skills
