Description

Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the role of Patient Care Partner (PCP) on the Med/Surg Unit. Willing to also consider LPN's or EMTs for this role. The PCP is responsible for providing a variety of patient care, environmental and equipment related services such as assisting with patient care, observing, and documenting illness and/or injury, order entry, wound cleaning, patient transport, room restocking and maintaining equipment. Also the more advanced skills IV starts, Urinary Catheter insertions, Telemetry monitoring, Phlebotomy, Vital Sign monitoring, ADLs, and EKGs. Will work collaboratively as a part of a patient focused team to provide excellent care and services.

The Med/Surg - Inpatient Center (IPC) Unit at Watertown Regional Medical Center is a 35-bed medical/ surgical patient care unit. On this care unit, Registered Nurses and Patient Care Partners are trained to provide excellent care for adult conditions requiring hospital admission, including a robust Bone & Joint program.

Full Time, .9 FTE. 3-12 hour shifts a week. Includes a weekend rotation of every 3rd weekend. For a limited time we are offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

Minimum requirement of current CNA, EMT or LPN certification/license issued by the State of Wisconsin, required
CPR Certification, required
1 year of patient care experience in a health care facility, required
Applies critical thinking, analytical and participative behavior to solving techniques and decision making
