Job Description

Job Summary


As the SIOP Senior Manager at Neenah Enterprises, you will have enterprise wide responsibility for helping create, execute, sustain, and continually improve demand planning and SIOP strategies.  You will have the opportunity to work with a cross functional team of business leaders and planning process owners on our journey to world class performance through the application of demand planning/SIOP principles, tools, and methodologies. This position requires a hands-on experienced individual with a good balance of technical, business, and leadership competencies.  This position will also require a significant level of independent thought and an ability to challenge existing strategies, processes and execution elements to ensure all functional areas adhere to the SIOP Process.   The SIOP Senior Manager will partner with all business units and functional support teams to understand the effectiveness of the SIOP process and to drive continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Manages demand planning and forecasting for production scheduling to ensure uninterrupted supply of customer products and maximizes efficient operations and production.
  • Oversees SIOP processes and monthly meetings.
  • Drives/sustains change within the organization through stakeholder management and develops/implements organizational-wide training sessions as needed.
  • Develop, implement, monitor and report on cross-functional KPIs to ensure effective execution, integration and performance of the new SIOP process.
    • Lead/manage the salaried production scheduling team.
  • Alignment and integration with Neenah Enterprises budgeting and financial processes.
  • Benchmarks internal and external best practices to identify and implement continuous process improvement/effectiveness initiatives.
  • Participates in shaping Supply and Demand Planning strategies, capabilities and processes to improve SIOP integration and performance.
  • Build processes and systems that result in a monthly 12-24 month forward looking business plan.
  • Drive consensus between cross-functional groups and leaders.
  • Continuously improve the monthly SIOP cycle including timeliness of the demand and supply plan submissions, robust alignment with financial budgets and projections and critical meetings such as Demand (unconstrained and net) and Supply Reviews.  
  • Act as key participant in the Executive IBP meetings.

  • Strong knowledge of SIOP and commercial business planning processes required.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage change in the organization and to influence others.
  • Strong analytical skills and capable of using models for optimization purposes.
  • Project management/process improvement skills required.
  • Proven/excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Prior experience in managing by influence across multiple teams/groups across an organization is required.
  • Background in process improvements, production or demand planning preferred.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain management, Accounting, Finance, or Engineering. 
  • 3 or more years of SIOP experience is required.
  • 7 plus years of business experience in Finance Planning, Supply Chain or Planning Management.
  • APICS certification is preferred. Must have understanding of end to end supply chain interactions and interdependencies.



Physical Requirements

Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

The worker must be able to access, analyze and otherwise work with, enter information stored in or obtained through the company's computer system, and to communicate effectively with co-workers and third parties who have business dealings with the Company's operations.  

Travel Requirements

Minimal travel is anticipated with this position
