Job Description

Job Summary


The Staff Accountant will assist the Operation’s Controller at Advanced Cast Products, with the daily, weekly, and monthly activities of the Accounting/Finance Department, including analyzing and interpreting financial data.

Essential Functions

  • Daily Cash Management
  • Process cash receipts and record revenue batches
  • Process accounts payable from good receipt notes through payment
  • Assist with customer and vendor inquiries
  • Assist with preparation of month end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with external audits
  • Manage fixed asset process and data
  • Back up all payroll related duties
  • Other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements
 
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration
  • 1-3 years’ experience preferred






Physical Requirements

Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

The worker must be able to access, analyze and otherwise work with, enter information stored in or obtained through the company's computer system, and to communicate effectively with co-workers and third parties who have business dealings with the Company's operations.  

Travel Requirements

Little to no travel is anticipated with this position
