POSITION OVERVIEW:

dormakaba is seeking a Marketing Intern to join our Marketing team in Indianapolis, IN! The Marketing Intern will assist with the day-to-day responsibilities of our Marketing department, support the Marketing team and will participate in collaborative initiatives.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Writes and edits copy for press releases, articles, emails, landing pages, blogs, digital ads, webinars, social media posts, etc.
• Supports marketing campaign planning and execution
• Analyzes data of current content campaigns, helping to establish benchmarks for reporting
• Supports creation of videos
• Designs and creates compelling marketing campaign assets
• Participates in brainstorming sessions and on a team responsible for planning, estimating, and managing deliverables
• Designs and edits image and text assets to ensure the best user experience
• Assists with organization of events within our Discovery Center

CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS:

• Understanding of email marketing techniques, best practices, and metrics
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient writing and editing skills
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic

• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and self-directed; able to manage time, meet deadlines, and reprioritize for concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
• Has a good mix of technical, analytical, and creative knowledge

REQUIREMENTS:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
