Job Description
Overview: The Financial Analyst is a core member of Agraces decision support team who closely collaborates with other Agrace analysts. This position is responsible for the ongoing development and enhancement of financial analysis and reporting to meet business information and decision support needs throughout the business. This includes working with end-users to understand their business and presenting insights and implications of analyses to operational teams. There is a focus on financial topics, but there is an expectation that the analyst can be equally effective working on non-financial projects. Responsibilities: Provide financial analysis to aid in organizational decision makingDevelop, generation, distribute, and present monthly financial reports including variance and margin analysis. Share knowledge and information from these reports with peers and organization leadership.Proactively identify and conduct analyses for the betterment of the organization.Summarize results of analysis including details and financial impact on the organization with leadershipProvide professional written, oral, and visual summaries of the results of data analyses and operational/strategic implications for a variety of audiences.Provide budget supportAssist with the development of the annual budget and periodic strategic plans. Provide support and guidance to assigned budgeters in the development of their specific spending estimates, as well as assisting in the ongoing analysis and decision making.Quantify and incorporate the impact of operational changes into budget projections.Assist in the consolidation and review of the annual organizational budget.Support operational business improvement initiativesMeet with business owners to understand their financial/analytical needs and underlying business processes. Organize and analyze data and present results to facilitate meaningful interpretation by customers, including value-added recommendations.Use systematic processes to routinely verify integrity, accuracy, and relevancy of data and collaborate with other analysts as needed.Manage ongoing data analysis and assess and make recommendations for change to leadership Qualifications: Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field3-5 years of experience in financial analysis in support of operations and managementQualifications:Advanced application of Excel skills, including theuse ofPIVOT tables (PowerPivot a plus)Organizing, prioritizing and managing a complex workload with minimal supervisionLeveraging technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of work practicesPresenting information in written, visual and verbal formats to a variety of audiencesHealthcare experience a plusKnowledge of Microsoft Power BI, pivot tables, or other data analysis toolsAbility to understand and convert raw data from our various systems into useful reportingAgrace is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
