Role Summary:

  • Responsible for overseeing operations under the Rooms Division, in collaboration with the Front Office Manager and the Director of Style (Housekeeping).

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison to the Front Desk and Style (Housekeeping) Department, assisting in overseeing daily operations and associate performance.

  • Provide ongoing job-specific training to associates; and assist the Front Office Manager and Director of Style with evaluating associate performance as needed.

  • Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times.

  • Assist in fulfilling special guest requests as well resolving guest complaints.

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining checklists and operating procedures.

  • Assist in systems implementation and related training.

  • Act as Manager on Duty, as needed.

  • Assist with scheduling, lobby duties, opening and closing responsibilities as requested by supervisor.

  • Complete duties of various positions within the Rooms Division, as needed (for instance, working as a guest reception agent or stylist/housekeeper).

  • Work closely with Front Office Manager and Director of Style in leading daily priorities and executing to company and brand standards.

  • Other duties as required.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Supervisory experience in a full service hotel preferred.
  • Flexible availability is required (including weekends).

Compensation:

  • The annual starting salary for this position is $46,000, depending on experience.
