Job Description

Job Summary


Conduct research via on-line project databases to identify sales opportunities.
Review online construction plans to identify Neenah Products required.
Create Quotations and conduct communications with identified customers
Conduct follow-up calls and communications to ensure that our customers have all applicable information.
Ask for the Order, Enter the Order into Neenah AS400 system.
Log results of each quotation

  • Chart Success Rate to show progress toward established goals
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the pricing for each assigned product line, by documenting wins and losses quote by quote.
  • Provide a weekly call report and discuss current activity in weekly conference calls.
  • Provide assistance to Product Managers to ensure that all possible jobs are properly quoted, and communicated to Outside Sales personnel as applicable.

  • Demonstrated ability, or the ability to learn to make material take-offs from constructions plans or online plan rooms.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team, influencing others through strong organizational skills and handle an increasing level of responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to be an effective communicator with logical, organized and tactical verbal, written, listening and presentation skills.  Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability of strong analytical skills and is able to assist in identifying and providing solutions to complex customer issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to create clear action plans.
  • Excellent computer skills for the MS Office Suite of software, online competency in social media.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or two years of related experience



Physical Requirements

Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

The worker must be able to access, analyze and otherwise work with, enter information stored in or obtained through the company's computer system, and to communicate effectively with co-workers and third parties who have business dealings with the company's Human Resources operations.  

Travel Requirements

Little to no travel is anticipated with this position
