We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist, Sr.

The Accounts Payable Specialist, Sr. is responsible for accurate analysis and data entry of accounts payable invoices to ensure accurate and on-time payment to suppliers. This position is also responsible for working with our purchasing and receiving departments, as well as third party suppliers, to resolve outstanding invoice issues. In addition, the Accounts Payable Specialist, Sr. will issue our weekly payment runs as well as perform miscellaneous clerical duties within the Accounts Payable Department.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or related field a plus.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience in Accounts Payable processing.
• Working knowledge of Accounts Payable module in an ERP system preferably JDEdwards
• Working knowledge of AP automation software a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products
• Proficient analytical skills used to analyze invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Working knowledge of general ledger accounting processes, preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
