Our foodservice customers include large national and regional restaurant chain accounts and foodservice distributors. Our retail customers are comprised of national and regional grocery retailers. The Human Resources Assistant will support the daily operations of the HR team and report directly to the Human Resources Manager. Duties: - Greet prospective employees and distribute application materials - Answer HR related phone calls and respond to inquiries on application status - Gather, compile, and verify information for orientation - Assist with onboarding new employees during the orientation process - Daily filing, scanning and copying HR related materials - Collaborate with multiple internal departments to complete daily HR duties - Other job related duties as requested Qualifications: - 1 year HR or equivalent experience - Experience with E-Verify, a plus - Ability to work with confidential information in a discreet manner - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Must have excellent problem solving abilities and a strong work ethic - Proficient in Microsoft office applications - Ability to multitask in fast paced environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee discount Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Human Resources: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: One location Company's website: www.bwfoods.com Benefit Conditions: Waiting period may apply Only full-time employees eligible Work Remotely: No | Quick Apply
