Job Overview

Liquid Sunshine is the full-service, in-house creative marketing agency for Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) and its 125 leading beverage brands, including Dr Pepper, Snapple, Keurig, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, 7UP, Bai, A&W, Core, Canada Dry, Mott's, and Schweppes. Our mission is to help grow KDP's iconic and refreshing brands with equally iconic and refreshing creative communications and experiences.

We are seeking a Lead Designer (Digital), to help guide Liquid Sunshine through an exciting new phase of growth in capabilities, brand assignments, and creative excellence. This position reports into the Director of Brand Design for KDP.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Oversee, and contribute to, the development and execution of digital design work across the KDP portfolio, with a heavy emphasis on websites, social content (static and animated), mobile, digital display, digital shelf (e-com), and more
  • Set the creative bar for design excellence across all our digital channels, platforms, and experiences
  • Work closely with the Brand, Account, and Strategy groups to ensure business objectives are met through superlative creative concepts and execution
  • Inspire and drive innovation in digital design through apps, AR/VR, gaming, interactive POS and other new and emerging digital experiences
  • Partner with Campaign & Content, the E-com team, and other internal groups to build on and flesh out ideas and programs that originate in those groups
  • Work with the Digital Production team to bring ideas to life at the highest level of quality possible
  • Lead a group of staff and freelance designers, providing them with clear responsibilities, goals, and, where applicable, career development
  • With Project Management, oversee multiple projects, resources and teams from concept through completion
  • Stay on top of the latest trends in pop culture, design thinking and broader inspirations, innovations and interruptions, and proactively identify opportunities to incorporate the best current thinking into the team's work
  • Champion and contribute to a culture of diversity, inclusion, personal growth, winning, and fun

Requirements

  • A BA or BFA in graphic design or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Deep digital design experience built on a solid foundation in print/graphic design
  • Outstanding portfolio showcasing strengths in branding, digital design, typography, UI/UX, layout, and color theory
  • A proven ability to turn insights and customer behavior into scalable design solutions
  • At least 10+ years of experience in design roles, preferably in an agency environment
  • 5+ years in a creative leadership role
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience creating for social and digital platforms
  • Strong presentation skills built on a solid foundation of outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of, and expertise in, the latest design and industry trends
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Adobe X
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and After Effects
  • A team player mentality with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
  • Leadership and management skills to rival your design chops
