Summary:
To apply customer specified finish or standard finishes to the products we manufacture. Detail oriented attitude is essential to achieve the desired quality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Use tools and equipment in the finishing/polishing of stainless equipment.
2. Read blueprints and finish specifications.
3. Use knowledge of all finishes required and procedures required to achieve R.M.S. finish rating.
4. Use a RA/RMS meter.
5. Attain proper grain structure to achieve a quality and cosmetically finished product up to a 320 grit finish RMS reading.
6. Maintain a neat and safe working area.
7. Assist supervisor and co-workers as directed.
8. Work as a team and or lead a group to finish a project from start to shipment and work through problems that arise during manufacturing.
9. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
