Genesis10 is currently seeking an Instructor (Driving) with our client in the SEO industry in their Mountain View, CA location. This is a 12 month + contract position.

- We are looking for Autonomous Vehicle Trainers to scale the essential skills to become an effective operations member
- You will be responsible for training new operators as they join the team and ensure they become effective team members while maintaining the highest level of safety
- AV Trainers are expected to develop a unique set of teaching skills to accommodate different learning styles
- Collaborate with managers and other Trainers to ensure consistency throughout the training program
- Provide effective feedback for trainees to ensure daily progress
- It is important to maintain a high level of professionalism and responsibility when critiquing new operator's abilities
- Safety is our #1 responsibility
- Trainers are expected to uphold this in all situations
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and train multiple new operators while maintaining the highest safety standards
- Assist in creating and maintaining training programs and materials
- Stay updated on system knowledge and be an all-knowing guru for trainees, operators, and managers
- Conduct classroom sessions and training presentations weekly
- Be able to orchestrate training for multiple trainees in a vehicle at once while maintaining the highest level of safety
- Maintain a strong standard with effective and consistent training practices
- Meet weekly with managers and trainers to work on improving the training program
- Meet daily with instructors on shift to discuss trainee evaluations
- Meet new-hires on their first day with an inviting attitude and expect to assist in an individual's training for 3+ weeks at a time
- Devote extra time post-shift to run study groups for trainees as needed
- Practice a firm yet understanding teaching style to accommodate different learning styles
Requirements:
- BS/BA or 4 years of relevant work experience
- 6 months of Autonomous Vehicle testing experience
- Clean driving history and no criminal history
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
- Excellent supervision skills
- Ability to travel 30% of the time
- Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)
