Schedule Details: 8.5 Hour shifts that include a 30 minute lunch. Mixture of AM/PM rotations. Every other weekend and holiday rotation.

What You Will Do:

Technician will perform essential operations such as variety of clerical and technical duties while working under the direct supervision of PHC Registered Pharmacists. Needs to be proficient in basic mathematical and pharmaceutical calculations as well as computer, telephone and communication skills.They will provide accurate, independent work and have the ability to interact professionally with other healthcare personnel as part of the PHC team.Technician will demonstrate competence in established policies and procedures such as EPIC software, inventory management of Automated Dispensing Cabinets, non-sterile compounding, packaging and delivery of medications for both inpatient and outpatient departments. Participates in training new staff.

Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • PTCB-recognized education/training program OR 500 hours of equivalent work experience to achieve required CPhT certification within 9 months of hire if full time status, or 12 months of hire for part time status
    • One year experience in a pharmaceutical environment preferred
    • Ability to work well under pressure and pay close attention to detail
    • Ability to walk and stand majority of the work time and lift weights up to 30 lbs when stocking inventory
