In this fast paced production environment, as a Mail Processor, you will be standing as you’re separating mail by mail class, scanning it, attaching labels, and ensuring that each piece of mail is processed accurately and timely.
This is a basic 10 key or scanner entry operation where processors enter package ID and/or zip code information into the UPS manifest system. Simultaneous to this, processors weight each piece of mail and apply a postage indicia label in the correct location on the mail piece. Ability to read/recognize zip codes and/or associated barcodes on mail pieces is required in addition to ability to effectively 10 key zip code numbers on standard personal computer keyboards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Requires good manual dexterity and ability to process mail using 2 hand method
- Must be able to stand, bend, lift and lower throughout entire work shift
- Must be able to safely lift 5-10lbs consistently
- Great team-oriented attitude Dependable and flexible
- Shift days are Sunday to Friday, Saturdays off
- Start time is 8pm Monday - Friday, Sunday @ 4pm
- Shift hours are 40+ hours per week, depending on volume
