Job/Internship Description
This internship is designed for students currently enrolled in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology Management, or related field.
The Internship will begin in May 2021 and end in August 2021. This internship is designed for a student studying for a career as a Engineering or Manufacturing Professional. The Intern will assist with a variety of projects which may include but is not limited to:
Using MAGMA simulation
Optimize gating and risering system to improve mold yield
Evaluate the production and sales data
Process investigation, data collection, and analysis
Process parameters
Assist in automation project planning
Analysis of green mold systems
Analysis of stock cores
Expected Areas of Competence (KSAs)
Developing knowledge of Engineering concepts including
AutoCAD Experience - preference in CREO and MAGMA software
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Chemistry
Math
Microsoft computer skills
Manufacturing
Engineering studies
Project planning
Ability to learn Minitab
Ability to take direction and complete a task
Education and Experience Requirements
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology Management, or related field.
