Northcentral Technical College (NTC) can provide flexible scheduling from part-time to full-time hours to accommodate your needs, including other employment, educational pursuits, etc., and you may also be able to work in conjunction with your agency/organization if they are in partnership with NTC for clinicals. Our scheduling flexibility options provide the best of both worlds to you: if you choose to continue to work hands on in the field, you can also share your knowledge and expertise to teach and develop students for the future of healthcare. We can make it flexible and manageable, even around possible furloughs. Apply now and we can help make it happen! Hourly rate will vary based on educational activities assigned and comittments.
The Clinical Instructor is responsible for clinical education in healthcare agencies throughout NTC's District. Clinical instructors play a vital role in the education of prelicensure nursing students. This role requires demonstrated knowledge, competence, and experience in a specialty area of practice as a direct care provider. The role requires excellent organizational, written, and oral interpersonal communication skills. As a part of the Nursing Faculty team, the Clinical Instructor is expected to ensure all program standards are met in all clinical learning activities, whether on campus or at a clinical agency. Each clinical course has a team of faculty that collaborate to meet the student learning outcomes. The Clinical Instructor role requires active participation with the team and in team discussions.
