$12.55 per hour
Location: Corporate Building
Shift: 8-5, Monday - Friday
Part-time student opportunities allow undergraduate and graduate students to schedule their work around their classes. These roles are available in both the office, customer service centers, and in the production environment. This program will allow students to gain experience working in a business/manufacturing environment while maintaining their full time academic commitments.
This part time work can be done throughout the student’s matriculation at college/university with the options for extended work hours during the summer months. Student are eligible for part time opportunities after the completion of their freshman year and can work until graduation. Students must be within a commutable distance of the Southwire location to participate in the Part Time Student Program.

Task and Responsibilities:
• Ability to adapt to change quickly while still resolving current issues
• Research & resolve the AR balance related to Steel Reels Process
• Research & resolve discrepancy balances on AR
• Other as needed
Requirements:
• Must be a rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior
• Ability to work at least 25 hours per week
• Studying towards a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Applied Science
• At least a 2.5 GPA
• Excellent listening, communication and written skills
• Energetic and passionate with a flexible spirit
• Ability to proactively identify problems and propose effective solutions
• Ability to work and complete projects independently, as well as within a team environment
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
