Primary responsibilities:
Installing and configuring physical hardware including servers, desktops, drives, switches, routers, etc.
Maintaining the internal network infrastructure including cabling, ports, WiFi access, firewall, and VPN access
Setting up, provisioning, monitoring, and updating virtual servers and desktops
Setting up, provisioning, monitoring, and updating database servers and web servers internally and on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Maintaining corporate and product websites and development environments on Pantheon
Developing scripts for automation of provisioning, backup, restore, diagnosis, etc.
Diagnosing and resolving internal IT technical issues for technical and non-technical users
Helping diagnose and implement IT technical solutions for customers using FasTrak products
Monitoring, identifying, and proactively reporting issues (e.g. security, capacity, performance, uptime, etc.) with the internal network and the cloud infrastructure
Documenting how-to information, guides, and procedures
Researching technical solutions to problems

Thorough knowledge of Windows XP, 7, and 10, and Windows Server 2003-2016 operating systems
Thorough knowledge of networking infrastructure including cabling, ports, switches, Ethernet, Wifi access, TCP/IP, and Active Directory
Practical knowledge of SQL Server administration, IIS 7+, Microsoft Office, and Powershell
Practical knowledge of hardware virtualization
Practical knowledge of IT operations on public clouds, AWS preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical persons
