Job Description
 
  1. Position Overview
    1. This person is the assistant responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance of all plant equipment.
  2. Reports to:
    1.  COO
  3. Supervises/Oversees Job Titles:
    1.  Maintenance technicians
  4. Major Responsibilities
    1. Oversee the repairing of down equipment as needed
    2. Oversee the performance of  preventative maintenance on all plant equipment per maintenance schedule
    3. Oversee the completion of  work orders on a timely basis
    4. Process improvements regarding maintenance procedures, processes and production
Equipment
    1. Train technicians on overall electrical and mechanical equipment knowledge
    2. Record and file all necessary documentation
    3. Over see the general housekeeping of maintenance shop
  2. Food and Personnel Safety Related Job Duties
    1. To follow all Legacy food safety procedures given at annual trainings.
    2. To follow all Legacy personnel safety procedures given at annual trainings.
    3. You must alert the Supervisor if you find any mechanical problem or unsafe condition.
    4. You must notify QA and Management of any food safety issues or concerns.
  3. Act as a backup to the following titles/roles in case of absence
    1.  Maintenance technicians
    2. As assigned by the COO
  4. Other Responsibilities
    1. As assigned by the COO
  5. Required Training
    1.   SQF, Food safety, Personnel safety and Positional training  
  6. Requirements
    1. Must have good written/verbal communication skills
    2. Must have good interpersonal skills
    3. Must have a proficiency in Microsoft word and Excel
    4. Ability to perform mathematics – addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentages
    5. Ability to work in warm environments
 

Position will start as an assistant manager for approximately 9 months then take on the managerial role

Salary will start at 65k and when transition to plant manager salary will increase to 80k/year by the end of the year
