Job Description

Provides the Treatment Foster Care program with day to day task and operational support. The TFC Case Assistant assists the team members in the program with such tasks as: placement coordination, ongoing supportive service delivery, outcome tracking, and case file maintenance in a manner consistent with accepted social work practices and agency program definitions.

High School education or equivalent required. Associate Degree in Human Services or Bachelor Degree preferred.

One year of experience working with children and families preferred.

Requires a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, personal auto liability insurance coverage and the ability to be insured by the Children's auto insurance carrier. Must use personal vehicle to travel to foster homes in the community

Child welfare knowledge desired.
Experience working with families of diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds strongly preferred.
A working knowledge of child development and issues facing special needs children is required.
The position requires good written skills and good verbal communication skills. Strong computer skills.

Additional Posting Description

This is a part-time position for 20 hours per week. Requires availability to work at least three days a week and will need to include some day and some evening hours.
