Our growing company manufactures and distributes critical components for a wide range of industries. Wisconsin Stamping & Manufacturing is seeking a highly motivated CNC Machining Operator to join our growing manufacturing team that strives to be the best in the industry.
2nd Shift - Four 10-hour days (Monday through Thursday)
We are privately-held, stable, and successful company that produces and distributes innovative products for a variety of customers. The CNC Machining Operator will perform daily setup and operations of CNC mills or turning centers.
A High School Diploma/GED equivalent required and one or more years experience operating CNC metal machining mills or lathes is a plus. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures on CNC machining equipment.
Setup and operate CNC machining equipment.
Perform some machine alignment procedures and machine zero home procedures to keep equipment at peak operating performance.
Able to troubleshoot machine problems.
Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
High School diploma or GED required.
Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement.
Excellent attendance and a positive, “can do” attitude.
THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED:
Previous experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
One or more years of CNC machine operating experience.
