CNC Machine Set-up/Operator

ESC has partnered with a leading, one-source contract manufacturer of plastic and metal parts, components and assemblies, based out of Menomonee Falls in search of a CNC Machine Set-up Person.  This is a 1^st shift role with hours that are flexible between 5am-3pm.  Candidates will be expected to set up and operate CNC machines using work orders, blueprints, necessary fixtures and tooling. They will also perform inspection as required by the quality department and ensure production is run on the CNC equipment in a reasonable and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Determine requirements from work order blueprints and other custom supplied data
• Maintain an appropriate set-up ensuring both productivity, quality, and optimum cycle time
• Run test program
• Have first piece approved by quality department.
• Inspect parts per print specifications and inspection intervals determined by the Quality department.
• Continually look for ways to improve on machining and set-up of job with Engineering Dept
• Perform visual inspection at all times
• Attend company courses and assist on project teams when asked
• Completion and update of job specific set-up documentation

Education and Experience

• Minimum 2-4 years machining experience and blueprint reading. Some programming knowledge a bonus.
• Must be capable of reading and understanding requirements on work orders.
• Prior experience with Shoda routers, CNC routers, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or CNC Saws
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
