Minimum of three years’ experience in fabricator manufacturing
Minimum one year of skilled GTAW and GMAW welding and cutting experience with .035 and .045 hardwire. Training through completion of an apprenticeship or other training program; other experience/skills will be verified by completion of skills testing at Taylor Dynamometer. Quality on-the-job or high school experience may be considered.
Demonstrated knowledge of how to achieve correct settings for fabrication, heating, welding and cutting of steel and other metals.
Demonstrated ability to select proper electrode, connect hoses/cables and adjust valves to obtain desired gas flow/pressure or specified amperage, voltage, or polarity per application.
Experience in use of grinding tools.
Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning/degreasing parts using wire brush and portable grinder.
Ability to use measurement equipment for general metal fabrication and weld integrity (leak) testing.
Ability to read engineering drawings, sketches and relevant work instructions.
Basic personal computer skills

Major Areas of Responsibility:
Supervise Fabricator personnel by administering schedule, productivity and first tier discipline
Follow Bills of Material and engineering documentation to properly construct parts for finished products
Perform preventative maintenance on all welding equipment and tools
Analyze and determine best practices of fixturing and welding
Adhere to all safety policies and protocols
Keep work area clean
Lift 50 lb on a regular basis
Assist in achieving the goals of the Company by performing other duties as assigned
