SUMMARY The House Manager is responsible for the supervisory role over Resident Assistants ensuring all needs are met of the residents accurately and proficiently.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General Duties
Attend ISP meetings as needed.
Monitor memory care unit staff delivery of clients’ service plans, activities are done on time with maximum attendance by residents, assist memory care staff in times of increased client behavior as needed.
Complete shift concerns and start investigation/interview and report any urgent concerns to AL Administrator.
Quarterly Customer service QI evaluation/questionnaires with clients to gauge satisfaction.
Report to AL Administrator any potential changes in a resident and update ISP per AL Administrator.
Report to AL Administrator employee issues requiring discipline or other employment actions.
Assist AL Administrator with policy needs based on observations.
Conduct after business hour tours during the week and weekends on duty.
Cover for staff assisting communication center breaks .
Call and replace RA holes if call ins occur
Take call rotation.
Fill in for AL Administrator when on vacation for DHS 83 Mandatory State reporting incidents.
Fill in as resident assistant as needed.
Supervisory Duties
Monitor all resident assistants in the areas of customer service delivery.
Ensure all resident assistants are following each resident’s service plan.
Ensure that all resident assistants are complying lunch and break times.
Ensure that resident assistants are supervising every meal.
Discipline staff as need per AL Administrators directive.
Training
Mentor all new employees in their training.
Follow up with each new employee to discuss ISP delivery, medication administration, CBRF policies, standards of practice.
Provide follow up to new hires within their 90 day training.
Re-educate any employees that are performing below standards on certain job duties.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE CBRF Certified required. Up to3 years in a lead role in a CBRF. Good Customer Service skills with clients, families, prospects and staff. Experience in mentoring new employees and monitor resident assistants’ effective execution of resident ISP.
