Hourly Pay Rate/Salary | Starting hourly rate of $16.62 and maximum of $21.83. Pay rate will be commensurate with qualifications. |
Hours per Week | 40 hours per week during the school year plus approximately 4 weeks during summer. |
Work Schedule | 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday for approximately 39 weeks annually. This position is customer-focused and may require the ability to adjust schedule to meet college, department, and student needs. This is a limited-term, grant-funded position through June 30, 2021. |

The Automation Engineering Technology Instructional Assistant is responsible for demonstrating installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures, and related operational skills to students, maintaining labs, ordering and stocking parts, and performing related functions. This position will also support grant-funded activities facilitated through the Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) mobile lab at high schools or in the campus lab. This position reports to the Dean of Apprenticeship, Engineering, Manufacturing, and IT and is provided work direction by the Automation Engineering Technology program director.
