Our client a global leader in contract manufacturing, headquartered in Waukesha, WI is seeking a Bookkeeper. Ideal candidates in this role will be responsible for handling a variety of accounting functions such as financial statement prep, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, payroll and some HR. This is offered as a full time role or part time if needed. The role works normal Monday through Friday daytime hours in a state-of-the-art 105,000 sq. ft. newly renovated office/manufacturing facility.
Our client maintains a staff of 75+ employees, performs on 2 shifts (1st/2nd) with ability to produce in the following disciplines: Stampings and Deep Draws, Fabricating and CNC Machining, Spot, Robotic and Orbital Welding, Tubing and Pipe Cut-Off, Polishing and a variety of additional customized contract manufacturing functions.
The Bookkeeper will:
Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
Match purchase orders with invoices
Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management
Monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receipts
Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances
Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
AP/AR and payroll duties using Paychex
HR related duties such as signing people up for medical insurance
Position Qualifications:
At least 1-2 years Bookkeeping experience in a manufacturing setting
Strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Strong Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Explorer Internet software
Experience with Workwise ERP software (preferred but not required)
