    Overview

    Quartz is seeking a Six Sigma certified Process Improvement professional to join our growing team! This position will assist in the development and deployment of the corporate process improvement strategy. The Process Improvement Analyst is a change agent responsible for building a culture of waste elimination by analyzing the effectiveness of business processes and developing and executing action plans to achieve optimal future state: reducing costs, streamlining processes, and enhancing overall internal and external customer experiences.

    Responsibilities
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement service and operational improvements including:
      • Acting as a project leader in developing and leading cross functional teams and identify key stakeholders
      • Developing key metrics related to process improvement projects to ensure achievement of expected outcomes
      • Managing change and building user acceptance throughout the course of the projects and initiatives
    • Lead multiple concurrent projects applying Lean Six Sigma methodology, systems re-engineering and process improvement tools
    • Oversee daily operations and project management for assigned process improvement teams: schedule meetings, plan agendas, develop materials, facilitate and lead discussions, summarize decisions and next steps, delegate responsibilities, assist with communication and deliverable development and develop implementation plans
    • Promote and teach Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools to organization leaders and front-line staff in support of Continuous Process Improvement Department initiatives
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, information technology, engineering, or related field (equivalent, relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education)
    • 3+ years of experience in applying process improvement initiatives required, preferaly in healthcare, service or industry
    • 1-3 years of project management experience (preferred)
    • Accredited Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt Certification preferred
    • Excellent negotiation, organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Experience in use of Change Management principles
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex business cases
