Provides close patient observation to ensure comfort and safety of patients. Notifies registered nurse of changes in patient behavior.
Observes patient in inpatient setting to ensure their comfort and safety.
Communicates closely with the registered nurse to have a better understanding of the patient's needs, diagnosis, visual, auditory or language barriers, along with any other special considerations.
Promptly communicates observations, concerns, and needs of the patient to the registered nurse.
Ensures patient call light is in reach of patient at all times.
Maintains a safe work environment; follows organization and department safety policies, including standard precautions.
Excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively interact with all types of personalities.Willing to work in adverse conditions and the ability to convey a positive image.Must possess a strong commitment to service management/customer service.
