Elver Park Neighborhood Center (EPNC), has an opening for a program leader to join its neighborhood center team. Become a part of a valuable team serving children and families by providing a high-quality and safe place for children to play and learn in the Elver Park area.
Position Summary: The program leader supervises children in grades K-5 during outdoor, gym, play, snack, free-choice, and engaging explorative learning activities. In addition, this position includes some administrative tasks such as attendance and record keeping. The program leader is part of the neighborhood center team that works closely together to support our families.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Must be 18 years of age in accordance with Wisconsin state licensing requirement
Able to supervise an active group of children and make decision about their safety
Ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships with children, families, school personnel, and others
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Experience with elementary students
Experience with behavior management and conflict resolution with youth
Direct experience working with diverse populations of school age children from various socioeconomic backgrounds

EPNC Program Leader, K-5 Program, starting wage is $13 Job Status: Part-time, 20-25 hours per week Work Schedule: Monday 1-6 p.m. and Tuesday- Friday 2-6 p.m. Hours will vary on non-school, early release days, as well as evening or weekend events
