Job Description
Web Programmer / Software Engineer
You’ll be on a team of other programmers who work with iNET designers, front-end developers, and SEO content developers to build and maintain custom web applications for clients. You’ll work at our restaurant-turned-eclectic-office-space in Waukesha.What you’ll be doing:
- Planning, Analysis, Design, Implementation, and Maintenance. Problem solving.
- Work independently and in tandem with other programmers.
- Communicate with clients and coworkers (read: non-programmers) to determine requirements for new features.
- Add or modify functionality (primarily back-end code) on new/existing client websites.
- Integrate with 3rd party web services (APIs).
- Use several languages including C#, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, XML, and JSON.
- Import, export, migrate, and manipulate, and analyze website data in SQL Server.
- Test website code, find and fix bugs.
- Creative problem solving.
Requirements:
- Experience developing web applications using technologies like C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML, JavaScript.
- Experience using databases and writing SQL queries.
- Proficient written and oral communication skills.
Added bonuses:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
- Database design and architecture experience.
- 3rd party API integration experience (REST, SOAP, or custom).
- Project management experience.
- Content management system development experience.
- Ecommerce development experience.
