Job Description:
iCare seeks a self-directed IT intern to assist the IT department with various projects and tasks.
IT Intern Duties and Responsibilities
- Review Help Desk Tickets and assist in resolving reporting and application issues
- Help Desk Ticket cleanup/analysis
- Application maintenance activities - Data Dictionary and Artifacts
- IT site migrations/SharePoint
- Assist with preparation for SSRS upgrade; clean up of existing reports and issues mitigation
- Ad hoc SQL analysis
- SSIS (for non-time sensitive)
- Internet/Intranet Web Site updates
- Documentation
- EA Model/lists of interfaces to external systems
- Meta data
- Mapping
- Requirements documents
- Test plans
- Testing
Experience and Skills:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems & Technology
- Minimum GPA 3.0
- Strong computer skills including a good working knowledge of MS Office
- Strong organizational and listening skills
- Ability to keep track of and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to juggle a high volume of work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and creative thinker
- Ability to take initiative on multiple projects
