Primary Function

This position is responsible for all aspects of graduate nursing internship coordination.

Duties and Responsibilities (generally)

The Graduate Nursing Internship Coordinator is responsible for the graduate internship process for all graduate nursing students in all graduate nursing programs, to include the Family Nurse Practitioner (M.S.), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (M.S.), Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist (M.S.), Nurse Educator (Master of Science and Post-masters Certificate) and with the Doctor of Nursing Practice program (DNP). This position is a full-time, 12-month, regular position and reports to the Director of Graduate Nursing Programs.

The Graduate Nursing Internship Coordinator position does not involve teaching.

Minimum Required Qualifications for this position

Master's degree in nursing; at least two years of clinical nursing experience; Registered Nurse license in the state of Illinois.

Education and Experience Preferred

Two years of experience working with healthcare informatics
