The position is responsible for all aspects of operating a bag-making machine with an in-line printing press. Duties include assisting with machine set-up, making adjustments to maintain product quality and consistency, packaging product produced by the machine and performing periodic visual and system based QC inspections to insure proper and consistent adherence to quality standards and customer specifications.

Produce and package product per customer specifications.
Conduct regular product QC checks against established standards and take appropriate corrective action in the case of a variance.
Manage quality, productivity and waste according to set standards.
Make machine adjustments as necessary to ensure proper settings and conditions are maintained to hold to product specification and quality standards.
Perform routine press maintenance, cleaning and adjustments.
Keep work area and machine organized and clean per standards.
Accurately complete necessary paperwork.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
