*Pursuing a master's degree in public policy, economics, statistics, psychology, education, sociology, demography, and related fields;
*At least four years of research, social policy, data analysis and project management experience (may include experience gained through internships, part-time work, research assistantships)
*Strong qualitative and/or quantitative analytical skills
*Excellent writing skills; understanding of how to communicate policy lessons from technical academic research in ways that policymakers/practitioners understand;
*Excellent oral communication skills, including a capacity to collaborate professionally with clients, implementing partners, consultants, and other external stakeholders
*Experience supporting proposal, budgeting and/or project management activities
*Attention to detail and accuracy
*Passion for bringing rigorous evidence to bear on policy and programmatic decision-making
*Self-starter who is able to work independently, adaptably, and able to operate in ambiguity
*Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and manage time.
