Job Description
Integral Recruiting Services is seeking an experienced leader to join their Information Technology Group in the role of Network Manager.  
 
Job Summary:  The Network Manager is a hands-on role responsible for creation and execution of strategic direction, management of IT personnel and technology infrastructure.  


Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands on technical expertise and leadership to a team of Network Engineers that are responsible for designing, planning and implementing Network Infrastructure, Windows & Linux Servers, Storage, Database, Server and Desktop Virtualization.
  • Manage IT staff by training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.
  • Develop, provide oversight and/or manage strategic partnering arrangements for the network systems and internal business units.
  • Drive operational efficiency through the use of system data/reporting and lesson learned reviews.
  • Partner with Operations staff to review operating procedures and maximize system efficiencies using system data to create operational and strategic plans.
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in a timely fashion.
  • Develops and implements IT policies, procedures and best practices to ensure shared understanding with internal stakeholders.
  • Develops and manages IT budget.
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
  • Drive project decisions and recommendations to management about schedules, prioritization, budget and resource allocation.
Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.  In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, an Associate’s Degree is acceptable with additional years of related work experience.
  • 5-7 years of IT experience, network architecture and operational support preferred.
  • 3+ years of IT management experience leading teams consisting of technical resources.
  • Strong technical background coupled with the ability to manage, coach and develop others.
  • Strong facilitation skills and project management experience with mid to large size projects.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with all levels of management and with employees.
  • Experience working in an ITIL and Agile environment preferred.
