Beer Capitol Distributing is now hiring for Merchandisers. This position is responsible for rotating stocking, and merchandising product delivered into customer accounts.

This is an entry-level position with the potential to move up within the company.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining fresh product at retail by rotating, reorganizing and refilling shelves and coolers
• Move an average of 500 cases of product per day weighing an average of 30-40 lbs. each
• Inventory and reorganize back stocks, refill cold boxes, shelves, displays and dust product as needed
• Build displays that meet supplier and company guidelines; assist with resets when needed
• Communicate with and take direction from account personnel, management, sales representatives, and delivery personnel on a regular basis

Skills and Abilities

• Customer service experience is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills: friendly, personable, and approachable
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation required for part-time Merchandisers
• Must be able to consistently lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds on a consistent basis
• Walk and stand for long periods of time; bending twisting, squatting, lifting

Some overtime may be required. Working weekends and holidays might be required.
