Job Description
As a Web Applications Developer, Level 2 you will work with the 4imprint Technology Development Team to develop new features for the family of 4imprint websites, internal workflow applications and customer facing applications. You will also maintain, support and improve functionality within existing applications and websites.
 
This role is for web developers that have real world experience with C# and ASP.NET who will work individually and as part of a team on high profile projects.
 
 Here’s what a typical day might look like. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Demonstrate the eight core principles that guide every 4imprint teammate on a daily basis: Honesty, Curiosity, Collaboration, Flexibility, Accountability, Empathy, Positive Attitude, Humility.
  • Investigate, design and develop a diverse range of software applications and modules, both for customer and internal use.
  • Write production quality JavaScript, CSS, HTML, C#, MVC, and SQL.
  • Own specific projects or areas of the 4imprint web platform as well as decide and action future direction for these projects.
  • Work with 4imprint Technology Development Team as well as various internal departments to assist with the structured development of our e-commerce technologies and internal workflow processes/applications.
  • Design/develop storyboards of user interfaces and program flow for presentation to assist with the planning of future functionality of existing applications and new applications.
  • Assist with the day-to-day administration, debugging and support of existing 4imprint web and application resources.
  • Maintain a current understanding of trends and updates in your role.
  • Participate in training classes and actively seek professional development.

 Required education/skills/experience:
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Programming, Design or Technical field or some experience in web application or desktop/mobile application development or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience beyond academic training using C# with either ASP.NET or Windows platforms.
  • Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of web applications development with current Microsoft technologies, emphasizing: C#, ASP.net, MVC, web services and programming for the .Net framework. Client side technologies used at 4imprint include jQuery, AngularJS, HTML 5, CSS layout and more.
  • Real world knowledge and experience of programming for SQL server, including database design, stored procedures, indexes, queries and ADO.NET usage.
 Also advantageous:
  • Team Foundation Server for source control and project tracking.
  • Windows Azure development including Cloud Services, Blob Storage/CDN, Service Bus, Azure Websites.
  • Design experience using tools like Adobe Fireworks or Photoshop to create web assets.
  • Experience developing mobile websites using responsive design principals.
