This year there has been a spotlight on domestic violence and how it may impact one's career, namely with the incident involving NFL running back, Ray Rice. After being convicted of abuse against his wife, along with video of the footage, the Baltimore Ravens released him from the team. That begs the question, should all employers have a domestic violence policy in place should one of their employees commit this crime? Gary Young, a partner with Scarinci Hollenbeck and an attorney with 40 years experience in labor and employment law, joins Tim Muma to give employers the hard truth and some guidance when it comes to this subject.
