We are seeking a visionary Human Resource professional to lead the effective delivery of HR services to all business units in the company. An individual with strong experience in the area of leadership development, skills in analyzing business data in decision making, and sound knowledge of business operations is being sought. The Chief Human Resource Officer is responsible for overseeing the areas of Leadership Development, Benefits Administration, Compliance, Performance Management, Recruiting, Employee Relations, Compensation Management and Payroll Administration. Responsibilities include creation, implementation and oversight of all HR policies, programs and services including:
Job Functions and requirements:

Serve as internal consultant to company management team, supervisors and employees on personnel issues that affect performance and business relationships.

Select, develop, evaluate and lead a team of human resource professionals with a goal of earning a high level of credibility as an effective and responsive internal consulting group.

Foster a workplace environment consistent with the values and mission outlined by the leadership of company and its culture of performance.

Manage the process of leadership development within the company; assessing, designing, implementing and evaluating training for management in the area of leadership skills.

Provide leadership in the critical area of recruitment by developing the most creative and cost-effective ways of generating high quality candidates in the marketplace. Work with position supervisors and the company recruiter to recruit, interview and recommend qualified employee candidates who can best contribute to the success and growth of the company.

Responsible for advising management to ensure company compliance with all federal, state and local laws related to employee benefits, compensation, employment and training. Remain current with changes in human resource and employment law and manage company relationships with regulatory agencies.

Oversee employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances, HSA’s, 401(k) plan, Personal Time Off (PTO), and EAP programs.

Serve as internal consultant to managers and advisor in employee relations and performance management situations as a joint responsibility with the employee supervisor.

Develop a highly effective on-boarding program that emphasizes the critical importance and value of welcoming and integrating new employees into the corporate culture. Coordinate job training with position supervisor to ensure beneficial starting experience for new employees.

Responsible for compensation management, with particular emphasis on compliance with annual salary budget and corporate philosophy.
