Sales Engineer
Position Overview:
This individual will provide on site technical consulting and serve as a new business development source for our larger OEM customers. Working with engineers, designers and buyers, this individual will help guide the customer in the use of our core products and services assuring the product concepts and designs are constructed for manufacturability and cost effectiveness.
This position will also be responsible for managing the introduction of new products or product modifications, from quote request to commercialization, ensuring all internal and external customer specifications and quality standards are met.
Located in Southeastern Wisconsin, our company has multiple locations and is a leader in our industry. Our company supplies products and services to OEM’s in the automotive, office furniture and hardware industries.
Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineer or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years experience serving major OEM's thru sales and / or project management positions.
Minimum of 1 or more years leading cross-functional teams through product development cycle.
Knowledge of forged and cast metal parts and metal coating is desired.
Strong interpersonal skills in team building /maintenance and customer relationships.
Demonstrated fiscal responsibility for major project budgets.
