Argus Technical Services is seeking an Electronic Test/Development Engineer for a contract to direct hire position with a client in the Brookfield, WI. area. This individual will be responsible for the development, installation and maintenance of electronic test solutions to satisfy project requirements. Our client's test solution enviroments include: NI (National Instruments) Labview, NI Test Stand, NI CVI and Microsoft.NET. Our client's hardware development and project management platforms include ORCAD 10 or newer, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office tools and Microsoft FrontPage. This person will be responsible for developing technologies in order to provice more complex test solutions in a decreased amount of time. To maintain this level of technical growth and opportunity, this position requires good communication skills to interface with co-workers, vendors, customer and management. This individual will also develop quality plans for design, validation and production of hardware and software products. This person will use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. This individual will prepare or direct preparation of product or system layout and dtailed drawings and schematics. This person will also direct and coordinate manufacturing for building of components and/or systems. This indvidual will complile and analyze operation, test, and research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified equipment or products. This person will plan and develop instrument drivers, utilities and test programs to meet project specifications. This individual will also analyze test data and reports to detemine if design meets functional performance specifications. This person will prepare design modifications as required. This individual will evaluate engineering test results for possible application to developments of systems or other uses. This ideal candidate should possess a B.S. Degree and have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in FPGA development, embedded design, and analog design. This individual should be familiar with C programming and .NET programming.
