Position Description

Job Description

Basic Functions:

  • Provide financial analytical support on new dealer prospects for the commercial customer base
  • Review and approve ownership changes for existing dealerships
  • Review and approve dealership expansions,
  • Review and evaluate buy/sell agreements and dealer valuation methodologies in cases of dealer acquisitions and buyouts
  • Manage a commercial dealer network through proper administration and credit underwriting practices.
  • Review and assist in establishing credit limits and determining credit ratings.
  • Provide underwriting expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Review/approve new dealer applications for Case and NH contracts. Involves extensive financial analysis, business planning skills and knowledge/review of pro-forma financials, etc.to ensure they are knowledgeable about their financials, helping to determine the dealers financial growth potential.
  • Prepare and/or review credit write-ups with executive management, both Commercial Credit and commercial business.
  • Review and ensure execution of legal documentation in conjunction with legal counsel to include inter-creditor agreements for new dealers requiring executive management approval.
  • Work closely with both commercial credit and commercial business personnel
  • Monitor new dealer credit/financial performance for dealers in existence for approximately1 year and will work with commercial business in situations which involve dealer restructuring/liquidation activities.
  • Manage dealer policy violations
  • May prepare, as required, formal write-ups on current dealers for executive management review.
  • May serve as a member of the Ag and CE dealer review boards.



Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree required, accounting/finance or business preferred and/or equivalent work experience
  • MBA desired
  • Minimum 8 years of diverse experience in credit/banking and/or commercial credit.
  • Experience in the equipment financing industry, and dealership interface a plus.
  • Commercial underwriting experience required.
  • Demonstrated solid financial analysis skills required, as well as financial statement interpretation
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with an array of contact points.
  • Excellent customer focus with the ability to appropriately plan organizes, prioritize and manage work processes.
  • Demonstrated solid PC skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or equivalent software and demonstrate the ability to create new formats for more effective presentation and analysis of data.
  • Demonstrated experience with financial analysis software required.
  • Demonstrated solid understanding of state/federal laws and regulations pertaining to the lending function.
  • Position requires occasional travel.
